About Us
Effective Office Services (EOS) began in 2001, as a one person operation, by owner Cheryl Almstrom. In time, Cheryl’s husband Donald joined EOS as technical and communications support. He is now in charge of Technical Operations, behind the scenes.
In late 2006, EOS took the first step towards offering additional services, beyond the scope of basic bookkeeping and customer service, in pursuit of becoming a total ‘all in one’ service business, capable of providing total administrative support in virtually all office related categories. Cheryl brought on her first sub-contractor, another successful Virtual Assistant, with varied skills and expertise, to be part of the team. This laid the ground work for today’s evolved structure.
EOS is a successful and vibrant business with Cheryl and full time Office Administrator, Liz Almstrom. EOS offers services ranging from Customer Service, Calendar/Scheduling Management, Social Media Marketing, Documentation and PowerPoint presentations to Bookkeeping and more. We pride ourselves in being a full service administrative business, for all businesses, no matter how small or where located.
Cheryl’s goals for the future of EOS is to continue to find new and innovative ways to support businesses with all of their administrative needs, creating and simulating an atmosphere of having their own on-site office staff, handling every aspect of their operations, without the added costs of office space, office equipment, training or owners professional time. Having two full-time people available, with varied expertise, will allow EOS to offer businesses a total Virtual Office. Cheryl knows about running a business alone, the costs…both personally and financially, and the time it takes to manage it all. She understands the needs of the small business owner and has made it her personal mission to find ways to fill those needs, in a cost effective and efficient model.
